John and Nadya Melton talks about how to get the ball rolling when starting your Facebook live for to reach as many people as possible.
First, when starting your live video you’ve got to think of great headlines to trigger people’s excitement and they recommend that your video headline should ask a question. And in the beginning of your video you should ask questions. That way you create engagement right at the gate and it will pull that live video on more news feeds. Not just when it’s live but also the replay. So, you’re actually going to get more view on replays.
When starting your video you never want to wait for people to hop on. Just get right into the content and get right into talking to people. You got to have energy, you got to project, but you also want to ask questions.
Then throughout the video keep asking short questions that could be like “Hey, drop a 1 in the comment if this has ever happened to you.” or “Let me know if this is helpful and if you have some tips that you want to share in the comments below, feel free to do so.”
Facebook Live #1: The WHY Video
The WHY video is like your launch video, where you’re all excited letting people know WHY you started this new business, but you do NOT want to mention your company or business name. It’s not that you don’t want them to know, but you want them to talk to you first before they go and google it.
You want to invite people in on your journey and don’t be afraid to share your goals and dreams with them. You want to always be giving value because often people are looking for a new business or for someone that could help them with the business they are already doing.
Facebook Live #2: The WHAT Video
The Facebook WHAT Video is more of like an unboxing, like the package arrived, unboxing it. Your’re exited, and telling people why you’re excited. You want to tell them what the products are about (don’t say the name of the company.)
And, in just as you’re about to pull a product on the box, you look at the camera and you say, “Hey, if you want to know what’s in the box and you want to know about the benefits that I’m going to be receiving or want to learn more, send me a private message.”
When doing this you are creating curiosity and people will stay for more.
Facebook Live #3: The WOW Video
The Facebook WOW video is based on results not just your results, but the results of the people that are on your product, people that are joining your team, the kind of money they’re making, the kind of success they’re having. It could also be something like the debt they have paid of, the weight that they lost.
The WOW videos can go on forever, because they are based on results.
