Today I have rounded up some of my favorite Easter Quotes, some scriptures from the bible and a graphic I really like because it can sum up Jesus in it.
Easter is one of my big holidays which brings back memories from when little and the excitement around egg hunting Easter morning. Sure, we all love eggs and chocolate bunnies, but this spring time holiday is about celebrating so much more.
Easter is a celebration of the greatest event in history. Easter is about Jesus and who he is, what he did, why he did it, and who he did it for.
Jesus needed to die in order to cover all our mistakes and reconcile us with God. He also needed to rise from the dead, to resurrect, proving his mastery over death. We need both death and resurrection. Jesus needed to die as our ultimate sacrifice to end all sacrifices and he needed to live again to show that his death wasn’t the end but a new beginning, both for him and for us.

This is a graphic I really like because it can sum up Jesus in it, and I wanted to share it with my readers.
“Greatest man in history named Jesus. Had no servants, yet they called him Master. Had no degree, yet they called him Teacher. Had no medicines, yet they called him Healer. He had no army, yet kings feared Him. He won no military battles, yet He conquered the world. He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him. He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today.”
Jesus taught us to serve others. He was proof of that when He washed his disciples feet. Jesus was always serving and helping others.
Jesus didn’t need to be taught as he is God. So He already knew the Word. He is the light that came into the world to being understanding about God and Him. He came to teach us so we can have eternal life through Him.
Jesus Christ is our ultimate physician. He healed many people. He cured the leopards. He caused the blind to see and the lame to walk. He even healed the dead by making them alive. He can do the same for us today.
As soon as they learned about the the birth of Jesus, rulers wanted all male boys killed. They didn’t want anyone to take over their kingdom. They were also looking for a mighty warrior to come, not a servant like how Jesus came into the world. So these rulers and kings felt threatened by Him.
Jesus not only conquered the world, but also death. He died and arose from the dead so we can live with Him and our Heavenly Father God. He conquered death, the penalty for our sins.
Religious leaders feared Him. They had Jesus put to death. They put Him up on a cross to die for our sins. The cross to me is a sign of forgiveness and love. There’s No greater love then he that lays down their life for another. Jesus paid our sin debt. A debt that we could not pay and that debt He didn’t owe.
He is alive and making intercession on our behalf to the Father. He is telling our Heavenly Father. I died for this child. My blood was shed for them. Death has no victory of Jesus because He has the victory over death. Because Jesus is alive we can have that person relationship with Him. That tomb is empty! So don’t go seeking Him in the dead. He is alive and among us today. He dwells inside of all of us.
